About Us

Our mission at WAVE is to engage, educate, and empower our members and the community to advance progressive American values and ethics. Our vision is a thriving and inclusive democracy. Since our founding in December 2016, we have grown from a fledgling group of 21 women into a movement with more than 2,000 followers, hundreds of dues-paying members, an army of volunteers, and a donor base that has raised over one million dollars in support of progressive candidates and issues in California and beyond.
